Cheltenham Open Data has really grown in the last week or so with loads of new pages and I discovered I would need to run some activities from my Raspberry Pi rather than GitHub Actions. As one cannot reliably trust actions on a 5-minute cadence, I also noted an hourly job based on its cron was only executing once or twice a day. With no feedback from GitHub this was happening. Madness.
Elsewhere;
- Work; I’m actively looking for a new job. It looks like a pretty rough market at the moment. Hopefully I can find some sponsors for COD to help bridge the gap.
- Health; I’m feeling much better and a few miles of walking on last Sunday was fine whilst I saw some of the half marathon runners and some old friends.
- Projects; Fixed a bug in my NetNewsWire themes so I can now use this RSS reader as a YouTube player. I have a Drafts Action that converts a channel url to an RSS feed. I then add it to NNW and I can watch videos in line or favourite them for later or use the extension.app to watch PIP on my iOS devices.
- Shops; I’ve updated my Gumroad shop, Etsy, and Redbubble with new products. Take a look.
- Apps; New releases Shortkeys which adds a favourites bar on the keyboard for your top 3, as well as an undo feature on the keyboard, in case you make a mistake or mean the key literally.
