This is an accessibility statement for thechels.uk.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Fully conformant means that the content fully conforms to the accessibility standard without any exceptions.

This website is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

Feedback on the accessibility of this website is welcome via any of the socials. The site is continually evolving and improving. Fixes will be applied as soon as health allows.

Assessment approach

The accessibility of this website:

• Every page is run through TPGI’s ARC Toolkit, and Google’s Lighthouse
• Automated tests at a code level and link checking on scheduled task, lighthouse checks on PRs
• Manual tests by using different browsers, zooms, font-sizes, physical devices, viewports using browser development tools

I am a solo developer and this is my personal site so mistakes and issues may occur. Please just let me know.
