Frogs

I dug a hole in our raised bed in the garden. I put a watertight planter in it. I put a brick at the bottom to one side and a water-based plant on top of the brick. I put some pebbles at the bottom and a bit of scrap stone or something that creatures could climb up and then left it.

We had a frog quite quickly, the child named him Dave. Then another, and I believe we are likely on the third generation of Dave and Davina. I check in regularly to make sure the water level is ok, especially in hot weather.

We have a frog child (small-medium sized) and at least two frog babies (very smol) in the pond with Dave and Davina.

Maybe this is a “build it and they will come” story, maybe it’s just a story about frogs.
