Castro Update Confirms Sale
Castro has its third owner in as many years it seems and I heard this first in podnews but have it confirmed in writing now.
Castro has been my favourite app for many years from the supertop days and a few dodgy moments when it seemed abandoned.
Giving this I built my own app Opiuml using the queue and inbox idea - my app also includes a YouTube player too.
Unfortunately I have 10 months of my Castro subscription to run but have already set it to cancel/expire.
I wanted to update everyone on the next stage of Castro: I’ve decided to sell the app to Maple Media. Maple Media is a mobile media and technology company that owns and runs category-leading entertainment, productivity and podcasting apps, including Player FM.
